Personalized PT Solutions Joins the YMCA Senior Health Fair — Our First Community Event in O’Fallon, IL

At Personalized PT Solutions, our mission is to help people in O’Fallon, Illinois, and throughout the Metro East area move better, feel stronger, and live pain-free. That mission came to life at our very first community event — the YMCA Senior Health Fair in O’Fallon, IL on October 10, 2025. This is where we had the pleasure of meeting local seniors, caregivers, and families dedicated to healthy, active living.

Connecting With the Metro East Community

The YMCA Senior Health Fair brought together community members eager to learn about wellness, mobility, and pain management. For Personalized PT Solutions, it was the perfect opportunity to show that physical therapy isn’t just for those recovering from surgery — it’s also for anyone who wants to stay active, independent, and confident at any stage of life.

Many seniors shared how they’d been told, “You’re just getting old,” when describing their pain. At Personalized PT Solutions, we believe aging doesn’t have to mean living with pain. What We Offered at the O’Fallon, IL Senior Health Fair

Our booth featured Free Mobility and Pain Assessments, where attendees could:

  • Test their range of motion and flexibility

  • Receive postural and gait evaluations

  • Identify trigger points and areas of pain

  • Get personalized exercise and movement recommendations

These quick assessments helped participants understand how physical therapy can relieve chronic pain, prevent falls, and promote better balance and mobility.

We also provided helpful education about:

  • Chronic pain management for arthritis, sciatica, and neuropathy

  • Fall prevention and balance training for older adults

  • Safe home exercise techniques for strength and flexibility

Why This Event Mattered

Participating in the YMCA Senior Health Fair was a meaningful first step in our community outreach journey. It gave us the chance to connect with seniors and caregivers across the Metro East region and start conversations about the difference personalized physical therapy can make. Several attendees have since scheduled appointments — turning education into real, measurable progress.
